Greetings to all our wonderful patients and supporters! We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we dive into March, we’re thrilled to share how proud we are of our physical therapy team at Vitality.
February was an exhilarating month for several of our team members as they had the incredible opportunity to attend the annual American Physical Therapy (APTA) Conference in Boston. This gathering brought together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe, all dedicated to advancing the field of physical therapy.
Throughout the conference, they immersed themselves in a wealth of knowledge, learning about the latest research findings and innovative treatment approaches in physical therapy. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow professionals, exchange insights, and gain fresh perspectives to enhance clinical practice. While there our team demonstrated their commitment to advancing the profession.

- Congratulations to Megan Jensen who was recognized for her successful achievement of passing the Board- Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy exam in 2023. There are only 773 specialists in this area in the United States!
- Kay Mastrocola participated as a speaker for the educational session “Dismantling Ableism and Creating Culture Belonging Within Physical Therapy Education Programs.” She could be spotted throughout the conference followed by DPT student fans everywhere!
- Jennifer Hungate attended the conference in her current role as Treasurer, supporting a membership of ~4,000 pelvic health PTs. She has served as a volunteer on the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy’s board of directors for 11 years.
