Our fitness classes at Vitality are for women who want to begin exercise, but aren’t sure how to get started or are feeling like something’s holding them back - maybe they’re still nursing an injury, they need to think differently after being diagnosed with a certain condition, or they’re trying to ease back into it after surgery or delivering a baby. It doesn’t matter what’s holding you back - what matters is that you’re here and you’re ready to get started.

Our Classes...

Are small in size so you can get the personal attention you need without the intimidation of not knowing the exercises or being able to complete them.

Vitality Core Series: 12-week session

As a woman, often the last person you think to take care of is yourself.  You might experience daily limitations that you've written off as normal because they aren't always debilitating.  Do you leak urine or feel like you are using the bathroom more often and urgently?  Do you have difficulty controlling gas or bowel movements?  Do you have pain during sex?  Do you have pain that limits you from daily activities like playing with your kids, unloading groceries, or exercising?  These are common concerns for women through the lifespan that can be addressed through education and exercise.

Vitality Women's Physical Therapy has created a 12-week series where you can join a small group of women just like you.  This exercise class is led by a physical therapist.  Not only will you strengthen your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, but you will also learn how to self-assess for a diastasis rectus and increase your awareness of posture and breath.  After each 45-minute exercise session a physical therapist will provide education regarding common physical struggles women face and strategies to prevent or resolve these issues.  Join our series to help you develop the strength and support to get back to everything that make you YOU!

Age: All ages are welcome

Ability:  All fitness levels are welcome (this class requires the ability to get on and off the floor independently)

Length of series:  12-week series

Cost:  $180 for (12 total sessions)

Spring 2018 session dates:

April 5th to June 21st once weekly on Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
