Why I specialize in women's health PT...

I became interested in women’s health during my first physical therapy job right out of school. At the time, I was primarily working with men in a work conditioning setting. A pregnant woman came to the clinic seeking care for low back pain and I had the pleasure of evaluating her. I was fascinated by the physical changes that occur during pregnancy and how these changes can contribute to musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. I went on to learn of the several postpartum musculoskeletal issues that can develop after pregnancy and birth.

I find great reward in helping women enjoy their pregnancies and not be limited by their pain. This was the population I was meant to specialize in.
